WebDec 30, 2009 · Off the top of my head the Scat measured no more than .0001 to .0002 out of round or taper. I remember the Eagle was close to .001 off in both measurements on some journals. This could have been a rare occurrence, but because of it I'll be sticking with Scat from now on. From what I can gather Scat still does their final machining in house.
