WebJul 23, 2009 · in any case, I've recently discovered an issue where the message included multi-byte unicode characters. I am using PySTAF.wrapData() to send the message, and it does seem to be properly setting the length of the string (i.e. counting those multi-bytes as two), but something is getting hosed somewhere. specifically, if I send with the syntax: WebSubject: [staf-users] How can i use PySTAF in a python file , called by web page My php webpage calls a python script demo.py which imports PySTAF , Since the webpage is called with nologin shell the env variables set in profile file are not reflecting for the page, hence it throws importerror

Make sure that PATH includes /usr/local/staf/bin and LD_LIBRARY_PATH includes /usr/local/staf/lib (assuming you installed STAF into the default location of /usr/local/staf). PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH already sets the respective values. And make sure that libSTAF.so exists in /usr/local/staf/lib.
