Then the female wasp lays its eggs inside the male fig, and male and female wasp babies are born. WebIn about 2 months, the new generation of wasps hatches out and emerges from the fig having pollen grains throughout the body surfaces. By this time, the summer crop of figs (Mammoni) are produced, which contain mostly gall flowers. The wasps again enter these figs and deposit eggs in most of them.
