WebFeb 5, 2024 · I've had horrible Edge (Chromium) performance problems for ages - all new pages took an age to load. After days of investigations I've tracked this to the Edge Secure DNS settings and the fix is trivial. Go into Setting -> Privacy, Search, and Services and turn off Secure DNS. WebTask manager shows Edge has 22 processes open ! CPU use regularly spikes to 100% then back down to 6%, memory use with the current 2 tabs is at 68%. It's possible it's my device, but prior to a month or so ago Edge was decently fast, slower than Firefox but still acceptable. My SP shouldn't be choking so much.
