His works were translated into English in the early twentieth century by “A Nun of Tyburn Convent” – and The Cenacle Press have reproduced this translation in their edition of Christ in His Mysteries. WebMarmion is an epic poem by Walter Scott about the Battle of Flodden (1513). The poem tells how Lord Marmion, a favourite of Henry VIII of England, lusts for Clara de Clare, a rich woman.
